About Two For Tea
Here at Two for Tea we truly love Tea, particularly loose leaf tea and we wanted to share the delights and benefits of it with others, so Two For Tea came into being.
Based in Cornwall, with a shop in Saltash, we strive to bring you the best quality teas from around the world, beautiful, functional and quirky accessories coupled with perfectly refined biscuits that are just a little bit different to complete the occasion.
Why are we called Two For Tea?
Well for us Tea should be more than just a quick dunk of a bag in a mug or a cuppa on the run!
For us it should be more of any event, made with high quality, loose leaf tea; it should be a drink to be appreciated not rushed, but savoured.
Find space in an often hectic schedule to allow yourself that precious commodity - TIME. Time to enjoy one of life’s simple pleasures.
What better time to do that than early afternoon, hence Two For Tea (2.40). Our thoughts on the matter are best summed up in the few sage words below:
Our Ethics
As well as seeking to offer an extensive range of luxury loose leaf teas, high quality accessories and artisan biscuit, we wanted our company to give something back.
Whilst enjoying a particularly delicious light Darjeeling, it came to us, we at Two For Tea take many things for granted like basics such as water, whilst for many it is an unobtainable luxury. That was it, it was decided that we would make a donation to Wateraid* for every pack of tea you buy, whether it's an individual pack or part of a subscription.
During another particularly fine cup of Russian Caravan, it hit us that we were only making donations from one stream of the business so to balance this we thought it appropriate to make donations to a charity relevant in some way to the accessories side of the business.
We chose Tearfund who work to relieve poverty by developing work programs, to create long term improvement to individuals and communities worldwide.

*Because of Legal & Financial regulations concerning some charities and donations from businesses, we have to donate through a third party organisation called Working For Good with our donations being ring fenced exclusively for WaterAid.
